As a professional in the automotive business for over forty years, I have had extensive experience beginning with my work as a technician, to managing a large dealership, to now owning my own successful auto repair business for over seventeen years. I have received a great deal of technical and management training and education over the years from General Motors, Ford, Honda, Acura, Daimler, Jeep, Volkswagen, and more.
This book is an easy-to-read explanation of how the auto industry has so many opportunities to take advantage of car owners and is, in many cases, totally corrupt. The book is meant to help those who feel vulnerable or ignorant about cars—women, young people just learning to drive, the mechanically challenged—virtually anyone who owns a car.
